This year the HAIP festival will take place for the second time (the first one took place in June 2004) with the presentation of multimedia art forms, resulting from the creative use of open technologies. The program will include performances by local and foreign artists and creative people interested in intermedia art forms, supported by open standards.
HAIP06 is proud to present: Rama Costentino and Platoniq (Spain), Time’s Up (Austria), FunkFeuer (Austria), Monochrom (Austria), Marc Widmer and Jonas Öhrström (Switzerland), Salsaman (United Kingdom), Rodrigo Derteano (Peru), Kentaro Fukuchi (Japan), Frank Barknecht (Germany), Daniel Fischer (Germany), Shaina Anand (India), Bob Miloševič (Serbia), Stefan Doepner (Germany/Slovenia), Borut Savski, Luka Prinčič, Slavko Glamočanin, Mould, Err0r (all Slovenia) and others. The focus of this year’s festival is the open approach to technology and creativity through networking. The works will be presented in form of exhibitions, installations, workshops, performances, lectures and representations. There will also be a lot of time for fun!
Festival venues:
Events will take place at Cyberpipe, Klub K4, Metropol cafe, exTranstroemer (all four are at 4 and 6 Kersnikova Street in the center of Ljubljana – map), Rog Factory (Petkovškovo nabrežje, entrance from Trubarjeva Street – map), at Ljubljana fair (Študentska Arena) and at Ljubljana Railway Station with the project Burn Station.
