Can’t say I haven’t done this before… Not on this scale of attention to detail, though. Not my favorite thing to do, alas completely life-like renders of _everything_ are not quite in our reach just yet. So, back to the old layers and lasso tool.

Having some fun with vector graphics… Not much to say. Haven’t exactly worked much with Illustrator before, and for all my needs Inkscape seems to work better for now. Plus it’s open source, which just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It turns out that eyeballing the exact floorplan and sections needed for a faithful reproduction of Harry Weese’s home is nigh impossible. Not to mention not very interesting.

Thus, I’ve decided to incorporate some ideas from his house in a building of my own design. A combination of my proposals #1 and #2.

Here are my first quick brainstorming sketches:
