Brendan McCollam is a 2008-2009 Watson Fellow. He is traveling around the world visiting hacklabs and meeting with hackers, free software evangelists, activists and artists. He is interested in seeing what these people are up to, talking to them about their goals, and helping out where possible. He hopes to gain a better understanding of this unique, transnational sub-culture.
